Room 322 will be updating our store layout and will be closed for Tuesday, August 31. We will be back and running on Wednesday September 1, 2010 better the before. Can’t move forward without change.
History in the Making

Creation is a beautiful thing that people sometimes overlook. When you stop and pay attention to the little details, you begin to appreciate the end product a lot more. Aside from new brands and styles coming into Room 322 we are also refreshing our image. We believe it is important to always move forward and constantly strive for quality. This is something that cannot be achieved over night, or even within years. It is a process, that we tackle every day.

Magic 2010: Recap

For those who don’t know Magic fashion trade show where brands, retailers, celebrities, and media from across world meet together for preview apparel, footwear, accessories from all over world. This year marks Room 322′s third appearance at the trade show and one the most exciting. It was very great meeting brand different owners/creative directors and hearing first hand the experiences, lifestyle, and aesthetics that go into each brand.
After the trade shows check out the night scene is a must in the city that does not sleep. This time around I had the opportunity to stop by Creative Recreation x Hudson Jeans party. This brand party was held in club XS night club, which had a outdoor pool, 5 main bars and even pool side bottle service. It was dope seeing a lot of people rocking Creative Recreation in the club including the bouncers, doormen, bartenders and obviously people attending the event.
From my point of view, the best thing about going to trade shows such as Magic you become energized. It was amazing to meet so many different creative people who on a daily basis produce modern art.
The direction Room 322 is moving towards is something that Edmonton will love.

The Brooklyn Circus

Seems everyone at project this year is talking about The Brooklyn Circus. I am almost postive no one in Edmonton has heard of the line, but it is a brand based in out of NYC that is timeless in style. All there pieces are clean and have a classic flavor that make this collection very fresh. Below are my three favorite pieces from the collection. The fit of brand is “Japanese”, meaning that it runs fitted keeping.

Closer look: Malino Hi

Denim shoes these days are rare find, but this fall season Creative Recreation has dropped the Malino hightop in a black denim colorway. Creative Recreation is consistently introducing new concept footwear on a seasonal basis keeping styles fresh and people looking fly. Black denim Malino is another dope shoe that belongs in any fashion forward person’s closet.
N4E1 Mulliner 2 Duffle Bag?

For those who didn’t know N4E1 dropped a duffle bag Fall/Winter 2009 that was fire called Mulliner! These bags were highly sought after from everyday people to celebs and N4E1 is bringing back v2. This bag is similar to the original except the quality has been raised to a whole new level. Mulliner 2 features raised double stitched diamond quilts, hand and shoulder straps, and side zip pockets making it perfect carry on/overnight bag.
Like the original drop Room 322 will only be bringing in only a handful of these bags, so check back end of August, or early September if you want to get your hands on these.

Black Scale recently teamed up with production company Werehaus, to shoot there Fall 2010 lookbook. The lookbook is broken into two parts and features the lifestyle of kid from the streets. Second installment of TOS features Kofi who runs with MITI dance crew out here in Edmonton. What made this shoot dope, similar to fashion, dancers pay close attention to the small details making there movements sharp and smooth.

Fall/Winter 2010 – Timberland Abington Collection

Over the last two weeks Fall 2010 collection of Room 322′s brands have been filtering into store. One brand to look out for this month is Timberland Abington collection. Abington collection incorporates modern details on classic footwear silhouettes. This collection incorporates the premium Horween leather and handsewn Vibram soles.
Shoes dropping at Room 322 will be Rugged Handsewn Shoe, Foreman Boot, Work Chukka, and Abington Hiker. Check out collection below and expect more pictures after the jump!
N4E1 Fall 2010 Preview

The crew recently put up a few teasers of N4E1 fall 2010 collection! Room 322 preview complete season and expect this to be one of there strongest seasons yet! Highlights of this collection will definitely be their jackets, but expect the same dope contemporary styles in there cardigans, sweaters, and buttons ups. Expect the drop date beginning of September and a special accessory release near the end of August.
