23 September 2010 - The Black Ivy, Street Etiquette

bobbyt: Room 322 is always trying to generate original content, but once an while I like to re-post projects from other fashion blogs that are doing something different. The members of Street Etiquette, Joshua & Travis, recently did a project paying tribute to historical black colleges. In the video you will see a style that is not widely known in Edmonton coined American Prep. This style is very clean and fitted, which is made up of button up, cardigans, varsity jackets, pocket squares, poor man jewelry, waist coats, sneakers, shoes etc. Majority of the individuals in this project fuse American prep, with there own preferred style, which is showcased in the video.
This style is very dope because all the pieces are classics that are timeless. In the video below you will see a few Brooklyn Circus (BKC) pieces that will be dropping in Room 322 this holiday season. Stay tune for the drop, because BKC will making some noise this holiday season at Room 322.

22 September 2010 - Subtle Details

For those unaware PRPS is one of the newest brands to hit Room 322′s Fall lineup. PRPS is a high end denim line, which focuses on producing the best denim period. In order to produce the best denim, PRPS acquires the strongest cotton, which is found & grown in Africa. Unlike other denim brands each PRPS denim goes through a 100 hour process between stitching, constructing, washes, dry time etc, which is reflected in the end result when compared to other denim. Leaving out as much machine work as possible, the subtle details of PRPS are produced by hand, making every pair of denim different from each other. Room 322 is proud to bring a classic denim line to Edmonton and rest of Canada.

08 September 2010 - Closer Look: Canada Goose – Alberta Vest

You can already feel the cold creeping in Edmonton, but Canada Goose has you covered before the snow actually falls this season. The particular piece I wanted shed some light on is part of the Travel Collection, the Alberta Vest. This collection was developed for users who wanted the warm and comfort of Canada Goose, but wanted still wanted style. The main vest was developed from the Expedition Parka with four large frontal pocket and has a slim fit that hugs your body.

This Vest comes in two different colors, military green and black. On the front left pocket you will see the authentic Canada Goose seal (Arctic Disc) in a black colorway instead of the classic, blue, whte and red. This detailing tones down the emblem making the Vest stand out more then the seal.

The Alberta Vest incorporates nano technology and DWR coating that allows for water to beat off the vest. The DWR finish at the same times allows for condensation to escape allowing you to stay dry in the inside, while repelling water on the outside. The hood on the Alberta Vest is also removable if desired and features a zipper collar that allows for easy quick removal.

Lastly, one of the best things about Canada Goose is that it is made in Canada. The brand takes a lot of pride in monitoring production of all their outterwear within Canada. This allows to produce high quality goods and keep all of us wanting more. This brand has a huge following and can be found all across the world and of coarse locally in Edmonton.
