04 October 2011 - Thank You Edmonton!
This blog post is a long time over due, but Restored Soles 2011 was a great success. For those not familiar with the project, Room 322 partnered with two local Jamaican organizations JANA & the Honorary Consult of Jamaica in Edmonton to host a sneaker drive for youth in Jamaica.
I am proud to say that we met our goal and raised over 500 pairs of sneakers to send to Jamaica. This wouldn’t be possible without the large amount of volunteers, but more importantly you the supporters! All of your donations will have such a big impact on the youth in Jamaica. If you didn’t have a chance to make it down to the event you missed out on some amazing Jamaican cuisine provided by JANA consisting of Jerk Chicken, Roti, Patties, and assortment of Jamaican pops.
Restored Soles held a second event and partnered with Red Star pub on their monthly Reggae Parties evenings. If you never been to these monthly make sure to check out this Wednesday, October 5 at Red Star.
New precedent been set in #YEG. Check out more pictures below!

28 July 2011 - Restored Soles; Added Perspective…

bobbyt: To give everyone some perceptive into Restored Soles, this project was inspired by a minor contribution that Room 322 back in 2009. We sent only a handful of pairs of sneakers for youth in Jamaica and the kids where more then happy to receive them. Over here in Edmonton we take a lot for granted and simple things such as shoes are highly valued in countries like Jamaica, especially to the youth who can’t even afford a decent pair.

07 June 2011 - The BKc by Brooklyn Circus Release Party
The end of May was highlighted with the release party for The BKc by Brooklyn Circus. This release party was for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which consisted of L/S & S/S button ups, lightweight cardigans, 8 panel hats, and cotton varsity jackets.. It was great to run into familiar faces and the opportunity to connect with people under the Room 322 roof. If you missed out the event we still have a selection of The BKc collection available in store.
Special thanks to everyone behind the scene who help pull this event together.

10 May 2011 - BKc Release Party Preparation

bobbyt: For those unaware the BKc by Brooklyn Circus release party is Friday May 27 and we are not skipping out on any details. We are planning creating a evening to remember from music to the drinks. Today we decided to do a taste test with a few select friends. The mixologist of the evening was Keenan Pascal who will also be spearheading the “flavor of quality” for the evening later this month. It was a great time being around good people drinking classic drinks.
