One of the most exciting things a boutique can do, is introduce a new brand to a city. This fall/holiday season Room 322 for the first time introduced The Brooklyn Circus to city of Edmonton and it been a great couple of weeks. For those people who are unfamiliar with the brand, the style of the BKc falls under the varsity prep, which resembles the ivy league students style of dressing (elite, selective and classic). The BKc, is a brand that was developed for the traveling man (or women) who is style is timeless. With a focus on quality, The BKc is made in Brooklyn where the founder can have a close eye on the craftsmanship and quality of all the BKc’s accessories, tops, and outerwear.
One of the focuses of The BKc pursuit of “Style + character”, which resonates in there 100 year plan and look book. The underlining message is your lifestyle should be reflected in the way you present yourself, a perfect match of The BKc & yourself (style + character). bobbyt: Love meeting people who are looking to change there style. Nothing wrong with the t-shirt and hoodie outfit, but it is always dope to change it up. Below is a picture of a customer named Mike who was looking for a different style then the typical outfit. Varsity prep look is a classic style that has been around for years that is timeless. The phrase “style + character”, which was coined by The Brooklyn Circus Mike’s style pefectly.

Transmission of Style is a new project that we are starting at Room 322 to showcase people unique perceptive on style. Streetwear has always been a faceless type of fashion, which people can mold to anything they see fit and it is always cool to see people’s spin on it. This series was inspired by Jake Davis’s Test Shots that has brought a very interesting perspective of fashion to the world.
First candidate in the series is the lovely Maria. She has been with Room 322 since the beginning, but mostly behind the scenes helping with the online store and Room 322 events. She can been seen to be always rocking a fresh pair of sneakers on a daily basis, which is her added flair. Within Edmonton it seems majority of ladies are constantly rocking skinny jeans/ leggings/ yoga pants, but Maria is proof that the baggy look fresh!
