Second Thought, Boxing Day Wrap up

One of the most anticipated day of the year any Canadian retailer and consumers is Boxing Day, but for the people “on the front line” it is one of the longest days of the year. Room 322 is still a growing store and like a new store we are constantly building up our following and customer based. We want everyone to have the opportunity to particpate in our one day sale, so every year we open from 8AM to 8PM. In the end of the day it is not just about that dollar amount we aim to obtain, but a good customer experience strive for. We truly enjoy watching custom’s expression when they are finally be able to purchase a particular item, or walk out with twice as much merchandise compared to previous visits. On top of that whenever someone visit us for the first time on boxing day, we are extremely pleased when they explain how they will be definitely returning in the future. Lastly, it is like icing on a cake when customers thank us after purchasing an item, and then follow up on Facebook/twitter to express there gratitude. It my opinion this is what give small business the edge on chain, or department stores the direct interactions. This experience, is something amazing to feel even if it is once year.

To wrap things up on the behalf of Room 322, I would like thank everyone who made it out Room 322 annual Boxing Day sale. A lot of you made our day from simply showing up at 8AM on the dot, patiently waiting in line to purchase your goods, or by simply saying thank you after purchasing an item. Also for everyone who did not show up to Room 322, I promise you we will work harder the coming months and next year to insure you stop by. You give us motivation to do better next year to get your attention and become one of your destinations for Boxing Day shopping.

See you Boxing Day 2011 and even though boxing day is finished we still have mark down a lot of off Room 322′s Spring/Summer/Fall 2010 merchandise!!
